Panera Bread Nutrition Facts and Healthy Menu
If you had asked me about Panera nutrition fact when I first wrote this article in 2012, I would have advised you to avoid it like the plague. Panera's calorie, carb, and sodium counts were ridiculously large. On the other side, Panera has come a long way. Panera has revised its menu in the last five years, and as of this writing, it offers a range of well-balanced menu choices (February 2017). Panera Bread has been one of the few chain restaurants where I feel at ease.

Panera Bread Nutrition Healthy Menu
Despite these dietary disasters, Panera has made strides in recent years to have healthier menu options. Apples or baked chips are also available as a healthy side dish (which you can still order instead of another slice of bread since their sandwiches are still high in carbs). Organic yoghurt and whole grain bread are also accessible (which you should also opt for). Nonetheless, their menu contains some very risky options that are high in calories, unhealthy carbohydrates, fat, and sodium, so make your selections carefully.
Two of their healthier options are the "You Choose 2" half sandwich and the salad/soup combination. Choose whole grain bread and avoid the cheese and sauces on some Panera dishes to save a lot of calories. The following are some of my personal favorites.
